Beth Dow’s photographs examine the ways we shape and experience the land, describing the territory between appearance and experience. Her work has been exhibited in the USA, Britain, Japan, and China, and received several awards, including: Grand Prize in the inaugural 2008 Photography.Book.Now competition, Critical Mass/Photolucida Book Award Top-Six finalist in 2007, and fellowships from the McKnight Foundation and the Minnesota State Arts Board. She lives in Minneapolis.
