Amy Ross (b. 1972, Denville, NJ) is a Boston-based painter. Prior to attending the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston from 1998 to 2000, she earned a BA in Religious Studies from Connecticut College in 1994 and a Master's in Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School in 1997.

Amy has had solo shows at Allston Skirt Gallery in Boston, MA; the Schlosberg Gallery at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA; and Motel Gallery in Portland, Oregon. She has been in a two-person show with Sue Coe at Overtones Gallery in Los Angeles, CA, and with Robert Gutierrez at Irvine Contemporary in Washington, DC. In the past two years, she created wall drawings for "Going Ape: Animals in Contemporary Art" at the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, MA; "On the Wall" at Cleveland State University Art Gallery, Cleveland, OH; and "The Drawing Show" at the Mills Gallery, Boston Center for the Arts, Boston, MA. Amy's works on paper have been shown in numerous group shows in the past year, including "Why Look at Animals" at ArtSpace in New Haven, CT; "Flight Plan" at Morgan Lehman Gallery, New York; "Modern Edens" at Spur Projects, Portola Valley, CA; and at Junc Gallery, Los Angeles, CA, and Rice/Polak Gallery, Provincetown, MA.

Her work has been reviewed in The Boston Globe, The Boston Phoenix, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Portland Mercury, The Cleveland Plain Dealer, and Art New England.
