Alison Grippo has been shooting off and on for nearly 10 years; she was recently named one of the 10 "Hot Shots" from Jen Bekman's Spring '06 Hey Hot Shot Competition, and received honorable mention for her photography in two categories for the International Photographer of the Year Award (the LUCIE's). She has appeared online in Group-Show by Humble Media and will be in their future STORY annual out in December. Alison is a staff photographer for the quarterly magazine DoubleTHINK where she has published an essay titled "uninterrupted - solitude in new york" and is currently working on a long form piece about amateur boxing in New York City. She has shot commercial work for Starwood, Morgan Stanley and XM Satellite radio, as well as lifestyle stock for major agencies.
